The Kensington Social Library will leverage tax credit funding to support the more than 4,000 square-foot renovation and expansion of the historic property. Revitalization efforts will preserve the historic façade while transforming the interior into a fully accessible, expanded, energy-efficient community hub. Founded in 1895, the library is the town’s only year-round civic, cultural and educational gathering space and serves as the primary public venue for youth programming, senior enrichment, training and cultural events.
