Harbor Care will use tax credits to support the redevelopment of 10–14 Amherst Street in downtown Nashua. The project will replace underutilized buildings with 27 one- and two-bedroom affordable housing units. The project also includes a 2,500-square-foot transitional housing component designed to stabilize up to eight individuals experiencing homelessness before they transition to permanent housing. Both the permanent and transitional housing components will include on-site supportive services to stabilize households.
