New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority has drafted an amendment to the current Action Plan for New Hampshire’s Pilot Program to Help Individuals in Recovery from Substance Use Disorder Become Stably Housed, or Recovery Housing Program. The Recovery Housing Program was authorized under Section 8071 of the SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Act (SUPPORT Act). The amendment will add the Lease, Rent and Utilities eligible activity to the list of current eligible activities, modify the Method of Delivery so CDFA can accept applications on a rolling basis, and revise activity budget amounts to align with a $1M maximum award amount.
The NH Community Development Finance Authority, which administers the state Recovery Housing Program, is soliciting comments on the draft amended Action Plan, from June 5, 2025 through July 7, 2025. The draft Recovery Housing Program Action Plan will be available for viewing or download at https://resources.nhcdfa.org/programs/community-development-block-grant/application/special-allocations. Printed copies are available upon request to members of the general public lacking internet access.
In addition to the general public, stakeholders, including agencies, units of government, and other interested parties are encouraged to invite clients and beneficiaries to comment on the amended Recovery Housing Program Action Plan. Written comments may be submitted via email through July 7, 2025 to comments@nhcdfa.org.
