Safari Youth Club: Capacity Building

Organization: Safari Youth Club

These organizational capacity building activities would strengthen the organization by compensating staff, expanding collaborations, and increasing revenue. SFC has done an incredible job renting and borrowing community facilities and grounds for their programs but as the organization matures, they hope to find a more permanent home for their youth and families – one that is safe, has a kitchen and meeting space, and access to recreational fields. This work aligns well with several of CED goals including increasing collaboration, resourcing projects led by/or directly benefiting vulnerable populations, and positioning communities to engage in physical infrastructure ownership.
