Rotobec USA is a leading manufacturer of rotors and grapples for heavy duty handling equipment used in forestry and scrap metal work. As a result of increased demand for their “orange peel” scrap grapples, Rotobec was looking to expand operations in Littleton, New Hampshire.
To strengthen and expand the business’ operational capacity, Rotobec utilized a low-cost loan supported by Community Development Block Grant funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The investment enabled the business to purchase two Computer Numerically Controlled machines and expand manufacturing operations. Ultimately, Rotobec created 10 new full-time jobs with competitive salaries and benefits including health care and paid time off. Six of the jobs were filled by persons of low- and moderate-income households.
