With a paid part-time coordinator over two years, Making Matters NH would be able to build sustained partnerships, increase memberships, expand programming, and position the skilled volunteers to focus on classes and training rather than community outreach and administration. They currently collect output and outcome data on the makerspace, and they believe with increased paid staffing capacity they would be able to increase the number of individuals, classes, scholarships, and school groups utilizing the facility. This work aligns well with CED’s goal to increase collaboration across organizations and resource projects in more rural, low-income communities.
